"I called this firm with concerns about my father’s (Jeff Beck’s) estate. The phone staff were professional and did everything that was reasonably within their power to try to connect me to their lawyer several times via phone and email. The staff said he was available when I first called, so they patched me through to him, but he didn’t pick up. Assuming he was preoccupied with something in his office, I asked to schedule a consultation with the lawyer. I was told I could not schedule one because he keeps a close hold on his schedule and does not give his staff access to his schedule. This is a bit odd. There were several previous times in my life that I utilized a lawyer to construct initial paperwork for business and real estate transactions as well as my own estate, and I’ve certainly never had such an odd experience for a pretty simple task like getting scheduled for a consultation. So the staff told me to just call back throughout the day or give my email. I asked if there was a good time to call back and they said they could not give me one because they didn’t have access to the lawyer’s schedule (fair response to the situation they were given). So I gave my email and called back 2 more times. With the exception of one time, they said he was available, they patched me through, and he didn’t pick up. I also confirmed they had the correct phone number and email address. Both were confirmed correctly. Both staff I talked to had exceptional continuity between one another and had good understanding of my request and contact information, so again, the staff were very professional. After what was now the 3rd answered call, at this point I told the staff I was putting the ball in the Lawyer’s court to call me or email me back as this was becoming a waste of my time. My experience was a surprise, given the high rating of this firm (based on stars), which is the only reason I stuck with those calls. Looking back through the text other Google reviews in greater detail, it does seem the communication issue is a trend."
