"In a public review I later posted describing my experience, I summarized concerns regarding lack of advocacy, pressure to concede rather than litigate, and unwillingness to pursue enforcement outside of Family Court when escalation was necessary. Notably, none of the substantive concerns raised in the original review were rebutted or addressed. The response consisted entirely of personal attacks rather than clarification of professional conduct. I have retained multiple attorneys over the course of my life and have never encountered a public response to a former client of this nature. This experience has also reinforced the importance of relying on substantive professional referrals rather than marketing-driven branding such as “The Divorce Coach” or selectively curated online reviews when selecting legal counsel. Hiring this firm based on price was a false economy. When the case required real advocacy, I had no choice but to replace counsel, forfeiting the retainer in the process. Based on both my direct experience and Mr. Pearsall’s own public conduct, I believe caution is warranted before retaining this firm."
