"If you are a Metlife insured holder, I will just explain my experience as is truth for me, and unfortunately not 5 stars. *no services were provided * but because customer service was lacking of clarity and respect, we didn’t continue with this office. I have no doubts that the lawyer is good because he has great reviews, but i guess the office needs to know how to explain benefits better to clients. Or maybe they just don’t want to take insurance holders, no idea. When you have the insurance plan, you have to schedule an appointment with the lawyer where they have to explain all the procedures of your case and what will be covered by your plan. So I proceed to schedule my appointment, and I confirmed in the call that on my appointment all the benefits would be explained. Day of the appointment comes, the representative said she does not have any information of what the insurance covers, but that we had to pay 3500 non refundable fee and give 50% ahead on the agreement. When we ask her if after paying this will be more charges- wanting to know what exactly insurance covers as these fees sounded like normal non-insurance plan fees- she just said confirm with your insurance. She said she will send an agreement contract to sign I proceed to call insurance and they said the lawyer had to clarify what services will be included and what will not. I call back the lawyers office, i told them i never received the agreement and never received the explanation of what will be covered by insurance after paying 3500. The guy on the phone (not an attorney) was so confused, he had no idea of what to answer he had to ask somebody, and he just sent me the agreement without explanation. Then he called my husband and he said “Your wife keeps calling about prices. We can’t disclose prices of what the insurance covers. You just need to sign your contract, pay the retainer, and then you can figure out the costs. If you are not happy with that answer, just find another lawyer.” A completely unacceptable and hostile response to us seeking clarity. I personally don’t like be treated like that. So yes, we did consultation with other lawyers in our MetLife plan and all of the other lawyers did the explanation of benefits themselves, were clear, and appropriate with values and respect . **This review was revised to eliminate comments made about cameras not being on during interview. It was asked if preferred or not."
